#36 Little Wimbly Lu @ Serangoon Gardens on 21 July 2014 (Monday)

 

A new joint " Little Wimbly Lu" opened at myVillage at Serangoon Gardens.

 

Little Wimbly Lu is an extension of Wimbly Lu at Jalan Riang.

 

Little Wimbly Lu has a smaller menu, smaller seating area and smaller servings of their famous desserts, such as waffles and crepes.

 

 

Do note that Little Wimbly Lu accept cash only

and they work on a self-service basis.

 

The sweet tooth counter.

 

Hope the desserts are as good as the main outlet.

 

Cappuccino.

Huge disappointment with the cappuccino served in recyclable cups.

Neither coffee art too.

The cappuccino tastes ordinary.

 

The waffle is half the regular portion served at the Jalan Riang outlet.

It is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

I still prefer the waffle from the Jalan Riang outlet.

 

The outdoor seats at the café.

You will be sweating if the weather is humid.

Not advisable to seat outdoor on a hot sunny day.

 

Coffee Hopping Mission Completed.

There are room for improvement.

I will revisit the café if the hot coffee is serving from a warm porcelain cup.
